Hey I bought a Dedi. and was given the nameservers

ns1.revolutionxpk.org
ns2.revolutionxpk.org

I went to my domain section(rxclient.net) and pressed the button DNS management ,

I filled out the form and chose to update: DNS Management
and submitted it. It then said something like it should update in 20 minutes but my domain still has the old nameservers.

Does it usually take longer than 20 minutes? (Actually its been about 9 hours now since i changed them).


Also I was told to check my nameservers ping
and it recieved 0 packets back, does that mean its still setting up?(The dedicated server came in yesterday).

if the nameserver dosen't ping that's not normal they should ping within few second after setup with your registrar, as for domain management it take between 20minute to 48 hour to fully propagate but usually a few second suffice.
